Started in an East Village storefront 5 years ago, this hilarious and lively talk show was voted “Best Party posing as an Internet Radio Show”
Described as “Party Monster Meets The View”, DWorld Radio is what happens when a high energy cast of some of the stars of New York City’s downtown nightlife scene meet radio. Hosted by the “Willy Wonka of Gay New York”, party icon Daniel Nardicio and a rotating cast of co-host including New York drag sensation Bianca del Rio, blogger and Aussie magazine editor at large Matt Phillp and sassy advice diva Robbyne Kaamil. It is as much a riotous talk show as it is a New York party on air.
Music is provided by superstar New York DJs Sammy Jo and Aaron Elvis, Retired Las Vegas Showgirl Carlotta Wellington calls in for her segment “Reflections through a Glass of Cutty Sark” and Southern Belle Bianca del Rio unleashes a tirade of impeccably timed vitriol on unsuspecting passerbys. Drinks and background male nudity is provided by an international cast of go go boys and porn stars.
Regular guests include the Village Voice’s gossip columnist Michael Musto, pop diva Lady Gaga, comedienne Margaret Cho, film maker John Waters, porn mogul Michael Lucas, New York Times regular Cintra Wilson, actor Elijah Wood, insane Cuban Chanteuse Margarita Pracatan, Village People Cowboy Randy Jones, Perez Hilton, fashionista Austin Scarlett, pop sensations Alison Moyet, Terra Deva and Golden Girl Rue McLanahan.
D List Radio has a weekly audience of approximately 40,000 people worldwide before it is syndicated to local radio stations in Cleveland, Ohio, Pride Radio Network, California, Key West, Florida, and Melbourne, Australia.
